All the orchards are celebrating! Acres of row after row of trees exploding in blooms. There’s a buzz and a song to the orchard, in deep relief from a long, harsh dark winter. Nature knows how to take stock and celebrate a milestone. It’s a quiet, wild joy!
I am giddy with joy today too! I’m beside myself over how this collection turned out and tonight is the night I get to experience it with you and celebrate! My people are gathering. It’s a coming together in love and in support of beauty and the art and the blossoms.

Blossoms are the promise of fruit. This is a season of reprieve, a moment of recharging our energy after a season of lack and before the work to produce fruit begins. Let us not forget, fruit is the real reward.
Miracle after miracle brought me here, but make no mistake, building a new life is work. It took about five years to really establish myself here in this place, but also establish my new self. I am a new person with an entirely new life. I have a community of people; people I love and who love me. I am deeply planted in this dirt. This lake is in every cell of my being. I have joined the rhythm of this place and tonight we celebrate.
Bless these blossoms. May they nourish us from our lack and give us the energy to produce beautiful fruit for all our labor.
